Certificate issuance

As a service to the Natural Health Product sector, CNPA offers International Trade Certificates to facilitate international trade. The Natural and Non-prescription Health Products Directorate (NNHPD) of Health Canada encourages companies to submit their ITC requests to designated third party issuers.

The certificate program, which includes International Trade Certificates for Natural Health Products and International Trade Certificates of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Compliance, is available to both members and non-members of CNPA.

STEPS:

1- Complete each sections of the certificate. Your Site License as well as your Product License must be valid, if applicable, to be eligible for these certificates.

A certificate containing an error will be returned with details of the corrections to be applied.
The CNPA will verify the accuracy of the information entered on the certificates through the list of license holders and the database of natural health products approved according to the information given on these references when receipt of certificate issuance requests.
The CNPA is not liable to anyone for any loss, damage or expense may have been lead to the use of the information provided in the certificate.
For Certificates of Free Sale, please provide copies of 2 invoices to canadian clients issued within the last 12 months as documentary proof. These invoices will be destroyed upon issuance of the Certificates or kept in file for repeat use, upon your instructions.

2- The CNPA issue International Trade Certificate, Certificates of Compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices and Certificate of Free Sale, accompanied by a letter from the CNPA, within 3 days.

MEMBER :

1 to 5 certificates: 179 $ each + taxes
6 to 10 certificates: 129$ each + taxes
11 certificates and more : 99 $ each + taxes

NON MEMBER :

1 to 5 certificate: 199 $ each + taxes
6 to 10 certificates: 179 $ each + taxes
11 certificates and more : 159 $ each + taxes

CNPA offers notarized document service at $50 plus taxes for each document.

The preferred payment methods for certificates are bank transfers; Interac e-transfer or payment by check payable to the CNPA.
